Biography

Hans Gutbrod is a Professor at Ilia State University in Tbilisi, Georgia. He has written on politics and ethics and works as a consultant in policy research. He previously was the regional director of the Caucasus Research Resource Centers (CRRC). Hans has been working in the Caucasus region and observing elections in Georgia since 1999 and holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He served as a Long-Term Observer for the ODIHR/OSCE mission in Georgia in 2003.
